How to obtain a quote for Mechanical Coverage?
Getting a quote is done from your dashboard and only takes a few steps. You’ll choose an eligible vehicle, enter a few vehicle details, and review your coverage options before checking out.
Before you start
Before you begin, make sure you have your vehicle’s current odometer reading. You’ll also be asked to choose your preferred coverage term, mileage, deductible, and coverage level during the quote flow.
Step 1: Sign in
Sign in to your account and go to your dashboard. From there, you’ll see a list of your vehicles, including which ones are eligible and which ones are not.
If a vehicle is marked ineligible, click the question mark next to it to learn more about why it does not currently qualify for coverage.
Step 2: Choose a vehicle
Click Get a Quote next to any eligible vehicle. This will start the quote process for that specific vehicle.
Only eligible vehicles can move forward to quoting.
Step 3: Enter mileage
Input the vehicle’s current odometer reading. Make sure the mileage you enter is up to date, since this information is used as part of the quote process.
Step 4: Confirm ownership timing
Answer whether you have owned the vehicle for more than 30 days or less than 30 days. Then click Continue to move to the next step.
Step 5: Pick your plan options
Choose how long you want coverage, how many miles of coverage you want, and the deductible option you prefer. These selections help define the coverage plan shown to you.
You may be able to compare different combinations before moving forward.
Step 6: Select a coverage level
Choose between Powertrain, Plus, and Premium. On this screen, you’ll see pricing and a summary of key coverages for all three options.
You can adjust your selections to compare pricing and coverage details as you decide which option best fits your needs.
Step 7: Review your quote
Once you’re satisfied with your selections, click Review. This lets you confirm your quote details before checkout.
Step 8: Check out
At checkout, you can review your vehicle information, confirm your coverage plan, and add your payment method. You’ll also be able to view the billing schedule for the full life of the coverage.
Step 9: Save your confirmation
After checkout, you’ll be taken to a confirmation screen. This screen includes your policy number, and your policy document will be generated for you.
Be sure to save a copy of this information for your records.
Important notes
Getting a quote starts from the dashboard and is only available for eligible vehicles. If a vehicle is not eligible, the dashboard may provide more information about that status. Final policy details, billing information, and coverage selections can all be reviewed before the purchase is completed.
