How do I change the coverage on my vehicle?

You choose coverage vehicle by vehicle, and you can change several vehicles at once in the same place.

Changing coverage

  1. Log in at my.tint.ai and open Off-Trip Insurance.
  2. Click Edit coverages, at the top right.
  3. Each vehicle has a dropdown showing its current coverage. Open it and choose the option you want.
  4. The panel on the right updates as you go, showing your new total each month.
  5. Click Continue and follow the steps to confirm. Taxes and fees are added at that next step.

OTI Coverage Options

Your options

  • Off-trip with a $1,000 deductible. The lowest deductible, so the highest premium.
  • Off-trip with a $2,500 deductible. A lower premium, and you pay more towards a claim.
  • Liability only. No comprehensive or collision cover for your own vehicle.
  • No coverage. The vehicle stays on your account but is not insured off-trip at all.

The options offered can differ by vehicle, so a car may not show every choice.

Before you choose "No coverage"

Choosing no coverage means that vehicle has no off-trip protection from the moment the change takes effect. If it is damaged while parked between bookings, there is nothing to claim against. Choose it only if you have other insurance for that vehicle or you are taking it off the road.

What it costs

The total shown in the panel is what you will be charged on your next billing date, if you make no other changes. Taxes and fees are calculated at the confirmation step, so the first figure you see is the premium alone.

Checking your current coverage

Open Off-Trip Insurance and select the Fleet tab. Each vehicle shows its coverage and deductible under the VIN, along with what it costs a month. The coverage summary on the right shows your premium, taxes and fees, total, and how many vehicles are covered.
