What are the requirements for a Tint off-trip insurance policy?
To ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for a Tint off-trip insurance policy, please review the detailed requirements below:
State Restrictions
Tint policies are unavailable for vehicles registered or garaged in New York (NY) or Kentucky (KY).
Minimum Vehicle Requirement
You must have at least three (3) vehicles listed, snoozed, and active on your Turo account to qualify for a Tint off-trip policy.
⚠️ Important Note: Please be aware that it can take a couple of days to sync our system with Turo. If you added a vehicle within the last 48 hours, we may still not see it.
Turo Vehicle Requirements
All eligible vehicles must meet Turo’s vehicle requirements, including compliance with Turo’s listing guidelines and approval process.
No Private Rentals
Tint’s policy exclusively covers vehicles rented through the Turo platform. Private rentals are not covered under this policy and could result in policy cancellation.
No Personal Use
The policy does not cover personal use of vehicles. Coverage only applies to off-trip business-related activities such as maintenance, fueling, washing, and delivery/pickup associated with Turo rentals.
No Coverage for Vehicles Rented Outside of Turo
Vehicles listed or rented on platforms other than Turo are not eligible for coverage. To maintain your policy, all vehicles must remain exclusively on Turo.
Driver Eligibility
All covered drivers must be at least 21 years of age or older.
