What are the SmartSTR coverage options?

Tint offers three types of coverage for SmartSTR:

1. Personal Contents Damage Coverage

This coverage protects against accidental damage to furniture and removable belongings within the contracted unit.

Coverage Limit Options (Per Contracted Stay):

Additionally, coverage for Bed Bug Infestation has a separate policy limit of $15,000.

Examples of Covered Incidents:

• A broken lamp
• Red wine spilled on a rug
• Bed bug infestation
• A towel bar pulled from the wall, leaving a hole in the drywall

2. Real Property Damage Coverage

This covers accidental damage to the rental property’s foundation and structure caused by guests during their contracted stay. Real property refers to items that cannot be easily removed from the property.

Coverage Limit:

$1,000,000 per claim

Examples of Covered Incidents:

• A bathtub overflows, causing water damage to the ceiling below
• A grease fire in the kitchen damages walls and counters

3. General Liability Coverage

This coverage protects the contracted property manager and owner against legal actions and guest injuries during a contracted stay.

Coverage Limit:

$1,000,000 per claim

Examples of Covered Incidents:

• A guest slips and falls down the stairs, resulting in a broken leg and medical expenses
