If you're a Maryland resident, the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) may require you to file an FR-19 — a certificate of financial responsibility that verifies your vehicle is insured in accordance with state requirements.

Important Notes:
1- Please ensure your vehicle is currently located in Maryland. If the vehicle is not showing as registered in Maryland on Turo, the FR-19 request may not be accepted.
2- We report the vehicle to the DMV in the state where it is registered on Turo. If you need to update your vehicle address, please refer to this other article.
