# How can I set and reset my password on Tint Portal?
If you'd like to set or reset your password at the Tint Portal, follow these simple steps:
#### **New Users: Setting a Password for the First Time**
1. New users will first need to log in via a **magic link** to establish their identity.
2. Once logged in using the magic link, you can then proceed to **set up a password**.
- Currently, a password cannot be set during the first visit, but we are working on updating this process so that new users can set up their password directly during their first visit.
#### **How to Set a Password:**
1. Go to the [Tint Portal Login](https://login.tint.ai).
2. Click on **"Use a password instead"**.
3. Select **"Forgot or need to create a password?"**.
4. Enter your login email.
- **Important:** You must use your **correct Turo email** here in order to receive the password reset email.
- Make sure you have access to this email account, as you will need it to reset your password.
5. Open the link sent to your email.
6. Set your new password.

#### **How to Reset a Password:**
If you need to reset your password, the process is the same as setting it:
1. Go to the [Tint Portal Login](https://login.tint.ai).
2. Click on **"Use a password instead"**.
3. Click on **"Forgot or need to create a password?"**.
4. Enter your login email.
- **Important:** Use your **correct Turo email** to receive the password reset email.
5. Open the link sent to your email.
6. Set your new password.
#### **How to Login with Your Password:**
Once you’ve set your password, to login:
1. Go to the [Tint Portal Login](https://login.tint.ai).
2. Click on **"Use a password instead"**.
3. Enter your password.
