If your vehicle isn’t appearing in the Tint Portal—whether it’s currently active on Turo or a recent purchase—you can manually add it by following the steps below.
🔧 Step-by-Step: Adding a Vehicle to Tint
- Open the Car Management section
From the left-hand menu of your Tint Portal, click Car Management. - Go to the “Eligible Cars” tab
At the top of the page, click Eligible Cars. - Scroll to the bottom and click Enter vehicle details.
- Choose the vehicle type
- Active on Turo – if the vehicle is currently listed on Turo.
- Recent Purchase – if it hasn’t been listed yet.
- Fill in the vehicle details
- If active on Turo, enter the public Turo listing URL.
Example:https://turo.com/us/en/car-rental/united-states/frisco-tx/nissan/altima/123456789
- Complete all required fields and click Add Vehicle.
Once submitted:
- The vehicle will appear as eligible.
- We'll sync this vehicle with the matching vehicle we get from Turo.
- A vehicle photo will populate once syncing is complete.
🛡️ To Insure the Vehicle
- Click Add Cars at the top of the page.
- Choose your preferred insurance coverage.
- Click Submit.
Your vehicle will then appear under your Insured Cars page.
⚠️ Important Reminders
- If we don’t receive matching data from Turo within 5 days, coverage may be canceled.
