How to add a vehicle that I don’t see on the Tint Portal?

If your vehicle isn’t appearing in the Tint Portal—whether it’s currently active on Turo or a recent purchase—you can manually add it by following the steps below.

🔧 Step-by-Step: Adding a Vehicle to Tint

  1. Open the Car Management section
    From the left-hand menu of your Tint Portal, click Car Management.
  2. Go to the “Eligible Cars” tab
    At the top of the page, click Eligible Cars.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click Enter vehicle details.
  4. Choose the vehicle type
    • Active on Turo – if the vehicle is currently listed on Turo.
    • Recent Purchase – if it hasn’t been listed yet.
  1. Fill in the vehicle details
    • If active on Turo, enter the public Turo listing URL.
      Example: https://turo.com/us/en/car-rental/united-states/frisco-tx/nissan/altima/123456789
  1. Complete all required fields and click Add Vehicle.

Once submitted:

  • The vehicle will appear as eligible.
  • We'll sync this vehicle with the matching vehicle we get from Turo.
  • A vehicle photo will populate once syncing is complete.

🛡️ To Insure the Vehicle

  1. Click Add Cars at the top of the page.
  2. Choose your preferred insurance coverage.
  3. Click Submit.

Your vehicle will then appear under your Insured Cars page.


⚠️ Important Reminders

  • If we don’t receive matching data from Turo within 5 days, coverage may be canceled.
