Each customer receives a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that includes important insurance details:
- Policy number
- Insurer information (name, address)
- Start and End date
- Coverage specifics
- Deductibles
- Additional interest details
The COI serves as official proof that your vehicle is insured and contains all the necessary details for verification.
How to obtain my Proof of Insurance?
Once you bind your policy, you will receive:
- A Major Certificate of Insurance (covering all your vehicles) and all vehicle ID Cards within 2 business days.
What if I need a vehicle-level COI?
- You can download a COI for each specific vehicle directly from the portal. This article provides step-by-step instructions.
- If you experience issues downloading your COI, please contact our support team.
What if I Need to Make Changes (e.g., Add Additional Interest, Change My Address)?
- If you need to make any changes to your proof of insurance, please submit this form.
- Currently, this cannot be done directly on the Tint portal.
